8rand1s | 3 comments Beta Reader looking for more authors to help out! I am an avid reader (reading 3-6 books at a time) and a retired teacher of 22 years. I worked with 5 authors in the past month. I’m willing to help with grammar, typos and the thoughts of a story from the reader's perspective. I read all different types of fiction; mainly Young Adult, Romance, Mystery, and Dystopia. My most recent testimonial said, ‘You've been brilliant so far, I couldn't write this novel without you! You keep me going. Thanks for the quick turnover on this!’ One of the authors I helped just recently published their book! You can email me at [email protected] with a blurb from your story and I’ll let you know if I’m available and interested.
$50 story reads with FIRST 2 CHAPTERS FREE! After the 1st 2 chapters we can discuss if we both want to continue.

If you have a place on your calendar, I have a women's fiction/chick lit adjacent novel I'd love for you to read. Here's the tagline and summary.

Tagline: You are the sum of your dietary choices—unless someone chooses for you.

Orphaned at birth, twenty-eight-year-old LENNOX BISHOP is leaving her bland Texas town, taking her job as a Drive-N-Dine deliverer with her to the sunny beaches of Florida, but before she can go, Lennox meets a mysterious woman who claims to be her grandmother. The septuagenarian says she can prove it without DNA tests. Lennox can simply bake something in the enchanted cookware that is the family’s inheritance—pots and pans wrought from ancient stone by a clan of dwarves—and if she’s kin, no matter how badly she cooks, the pots will serve up all manner of culinary delights. This is no ordinary food, though. It possesses the transformative power to alter lives, and this would-be grandmother wants Lennox to carry on the family gifting. To disprove the old lady’s claim, Lennox cooks for her, but Lennox is stunned when she stirs up a pan of mud that comes out of the oven as a strawberry cake.

Complicating Lennox’s planned relocation, her beloved foster mother unknowingly becomes entangled with corrupt cops in town, one of whom might be Lennox’s ex-boyfriend. Lennox can’t leave her in that predicament, so she turns to her newly discovered grandmother and the enchanted cookware. Can the transcendent cuisine it dishes up unveil the culprits to help rescue her foster mother, or will Lennox fail the family legacy? As her long-awaited move draws near, Lennox must make a decision, and it appears there’s more to biological beginnings than she understood, so she might just stick around and cook up an appetizing life.
