Play Book Tag discussion

I’m not sure how this book got on my TBR, but it has been on it ever since I joined GR. So in that sense, I’m happy to have read it and finally got it off my TBR. However, it was not a book I enjoyed at all. The blurb did not at all match what happened in the book. Whilst everything that was written in the blurb did happen, I was not expecting to read a detailed description of the potentially rabies-infected cat being caught, tortured and killed, followed a chapter or so later by a description of a woman being raped by her husband. I found this book both tedious and pretentious, the characters were annoying and there was barely a plot to it. I was so close to making this book my one and only DNF, but as I was already about 75% through with this, I decided to finish it and write this review if only to warn people off this book.
