The explosive third and final thrilling instalment in the acclaimed One of Us... series.

Ever since Simon died in detention, life hasn't been easy for the Bayview Crew. First the Bayview Four had to prove they weren't killers. Then a new generation had to outwit a vengeful copycat. Now, it's beginning again.

At first the mysterious billboard seems like a bad joke: Time for a new game, Bayview. But when a member of the crew disappears, it's clear this 'game' just got serious - and no one understands the rules.

Everyone's a target. And now that someone unexpected has returned to Bayview, things are starting to get deadly.

Simon was right about secrets - they all come out in the end.

The thing is, Simon was right about secrets-they all come out, eventually. And Bayview has a lot it's still hiding.

Finished (view spoiler)[ Wow! I was not expecting that ending, and Jake was oddly enough the victim and the bad guy. I feel bad for Evie, and get why she killed Jake, but its kind of weird that they were able to just escape like that. Im glad Pheobe was able to clear her conscience, and get with Knox. Its sad seeing them all going their separate ways, but by the sounds of it they will always still be in contact. (hide spoiler)]

End (view spoiler)[ Wow so all those flashbacks with Jake and his dad came full circle about his true paternity and the real motive behind Evie. Jake is finally dead though in a crazy turn of events. (hide spoiler)]

Also, I just learned that is in the same universe. Or at least 'Winterfell' makes me think it is.

Oooooh okay! That's exciting! I would have just put Winterfell as a Game of Thrones reference haha why does that make you think it's in the same universe? I loved Nothing More To Tell, it's the only other book she's written aside from this series that I've really enjoyed. The rest have been eh

I think I got the offices mixed up. lol I'm reading Nothing More to Tell right now too. Since they both have Winterfell as meeting rooms, but then I realized they weren't at the same place. Seems weird that she has both places having meeting rooms with those specific names lol

well that does make sense that they're set in the same room. but I don't remember Nothing too well so I didn't pick up on that.

I've read a few of her books in the past couple weeks and I've noticed the writing is so similar that they kind of run together. It doesn't help that the characters, ex Phoebe and Abby, have very similar voices. I love how the mysteries play out though so it's fine

And one of the characters in just mentioned the Bayview Four and Mikhail Powers so I'm not crazy after all. lol

This was disappointing :( How can we go from a 5 star to a 4 star to this? There was no game in here. I started off being confused because of all of the characters despite only just having read the second one. I really don't feel like this added anything useful to the story. I read that McManus planned it to be a standalone and I wish she'd kept it that way :/
