What is your favorite place to read? And what is the place you read most frequently? Are they the same? Why or why not? (“Read”can mean with your eyes or with your ears.)

My bedroom's loveseat with a footstool. Most frequent and second favorite. Quiet, comfortable, and handy to shelves and laptop.

Bed, favorite in winter... I get under the covers quite early because the rest of the family likes the house cooler than I do (and I don't mind saving money & being green).
Patio, favorite in summer... gentle breeze, birdsong, wild bunnies in the yard, warmth from sun reaching into the shade, yes.

I don't actually have a favourite place to read. Reading seems to entirely be about the mental space not the physical space, as in, when I need to relax or I need to be distracted I read. No matter the place.
Most frequent is my car, because I listen to books for my commute. Second is whenever I'm walking, because walking is boring and listening to books makes it all worth while.

Favorite and most frequent place to read for me is my leather La-Z-Boy in the room in our house that we call the library. 2 walls of windows that look out to the woods and river and 2 walls of floor-to-ceiling bookcases. I read there pretty much every evening when I’m home, which is most evenings.

In cool weather, on my couch with a blanket. In warm weather, outside on my backyard deck. In too-hot weather, back on the couch in the air conditioning. :)

Also in my bed right before turning out the light, any season!

I don't really have favorite places to read anymore. I did when I was a kid. One of those was at the park under a tree by water with the carillon right above me on the hill. Depending on the day and season, the bells might be playing.

Now I usually read either on the living room couch, the love seat in our computer room, or curled up in bed. Mostly just somewhere I can be comfortable.
