Luna Lovebad | 3 comments Hey I've read some great books the last weeks, but now I'm a bit stuck.
Does anyone have ideas?
Some books I enjoyed were:
Red white and royalblue
I kissed Shara Wheeler
Solitaire
Radio Silence
To all the boys I've loved before(all 3 of them)
Love hypothesis

I hope anyone has some recomendations

Archer | 48 comments Casey McQuiston has another book called One Last Stop. I believe Ali Hazelwood has a big library as well.

Riley | 1 comments Does anyone have any book recommendations for a book about the raw truth of being a gay teenager? I want something that’s like relatable unlike so many queer books out there

Sam K (zutara123) | 30 comments She drives me crazy by kelly quindlen
Her name in the sky by kelly quindlen
Kiss her once for me by alice cochrun
She gets the girl by rachael lippincott and alyson derrick.

Maybe try leah on the offbeat or simon vs the homo sapien agenda

Archer | 48 comments Riley - IDK if you're looking for M/M specifically, but Annie on My Mind is a classic. It's a sad one, it takes place in The Past(50s-60s iirc, but it's been a while) so there's like, proper homophobia, if that's something that bothers you. It got burned and banned in Kansas, so it has that to recommend it.

If you're wanting raw, looking at banned book lists in general might be a great place to start. I like this list since it has a lot of recent books, so it has a larger proportion of queer books to choose from.

Luna Lovebad | 3 comments Hey does anyone have some good ideas for fantasy books but with like lgbtq stuff in it?

message 8: by Reuven (new)

Reuven Riley - I was very touched by ‚Young Mungo‘ by Douglas Stuart. It fits very well into the genre you are looking for.

g (sputnips_reads) | 3 comments Hey Luna, I've also enjoyed Love Hypothesis and Red, White, and Royal Blue (Shara Wheeler, not so much).

Here are some recs that maybe you'll also like:
-Ashley Herring Blake's Bright Falls series
-Love on the Brain
-The Fiancee Farce
-Lockdown on London Lane
-Alexis Hall's London Calling series

Also some queer fantasy recs:
-This Spells Disaster (witches obv!)
-Gerri Hill's Keepers of the Cave & Weeping Walls (paranormal mystery)
-Ruby Roe's Girl Games series (magic, heists, AND very spicy)

Charlie Spring | 65 comments I saw you liked Solitaire and Radio Silence by Alice Oseman but they also wrote Heartstopper: Volume One, I Was Born For This and Lovelessthat I read and loved!
If This Gets Out by Sophie Gonzales and Cale Dietrich
I Was Born For This and If This Gets Out are about boysbands and even though I'm not a fan of boysbands, I think these books are incredible! I talked about these books somewhere and someone recommended me the book Kiss & Tell about a boyband too.
For fans of Jane Austen, of Shakespeare (Shakesqueer, lol) and of The Great Gatsby, I heard good things about Most Ardently, [[book:Teach the Torches to Burn|61484873]and Self-Made Boys: A Great Gatsby Remix (there are other books of this collection with Robin Hood, Mr Jekyll and Mr Hyde etc.)

Lgbtq fantasy: Cemetery Boys, Felix Ever After and Carry On

BangtonBoy | 25 comments I suppose this is blasphemy since Fitzgerald lived not far from my house and he's seen as a god in this city, but I liked SELF MADE BOYS a lot more than THE GREAT GATSBY.
