Celia Buell (semi hiatus) (celiareadsbooks) | 3944 comments If it's okay, I'm going to move Raquel's My Name is Barbra to banked and use mine for first person. It's the only thing that my recent book fits that we haven't used yet and I do want to try for the bonus.

message 21: by Raquel (last edited Jan 25, 2024 06:57PM) (new)

Raquel Shah | 130 comments Let me see if it fits anywhere else because I would hate to lose the 10 points versus your 2 that we would get from that one. I am done with the book, just need to update my sheet and get my review posted. I normally update all my books on Fridays.

Oh sorry, I posted it. Yours is in banked. Sorry. If you want to post it I can move mine around if that is all it fits for. Or use mine as an extra as we are allowed to repeat tasks.

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, we can reuse categories, so it can still be posted for that. But if we can get all 130 categories done those 100 bonus points would be sweet.

message 24: by Celia (new)

Celia Buell (semi hiatus) (celiareadsbooks) | 3944 comments Yeah that was my aim. It can still be 10 more points that we get if it doesn't fit there

message 25: by Raquel (new)

Raquel Shah | 130 comments It fit somewhere else. I'll get all my reviews updated and posted tomorrow.

Hey team, excellent work everyone getting books slotted in. It's impressive that we only have a few that don't fit currently. We can move books. so if anyone read anything that fit one of these let me know and I can see if the banked books can swap in:
1. Austria: MC drinks an energy drink Posted by Hayley
2. Cyprus: MPG Folklore - claimed by Berra
3. Czech Republic: MPG Fairy Tale
4. Hong Kong: Set at a theme park
5. Latvia: Horse on the cover - claimed by Raquel
6. Lithuania: Bird on the cover - claimed by Celia
7. Singapore: MPG Mythology - claimed by Jessica
8. Slovakia: Series has letters OPAL in it (in any order) - claimed by Berra
9. Thailand: Set in Thailand - claimed by Raquel

Berra | 451 comments Terms and Conditions work for the theme park one!

message 29: by Berra (new)

Berra | 451 comments I think I can read a quick book tn to fill for what Terms and Conditions originally worked for

message 30: by Celia (new)

Celia Buell (semi hiatus) (celiareadsbooks) | 3944 comments Currently reading one with a bird on the cover. Might be the last book I get to this month though.

Berra | 451 comments Can someone pls find me a folklore book :(( I can’t find any 😭

You can try some of the classics - Andersen's Fairy Tales, The Arabian Nights, Grimm's, etc - there are free copies on Kindle or with KU or prime

message 33: by Berra (new)

Berra | 451 comments Gotchu!! Thank you!!

message 34: by Berra (new)

Berra | 451 comments So I can prob do one of those books and I am also going to be reading a percy jackson book for mythology, we're so close guys!!

message 35: by Raquel (new)

Raquel Shah | 130 comments I can read 2 shortish books for set in Thai and horse on cover if no one is already working on those.

message 36: by Berra (new)

Percy Jackson also works for OPAL in the series title, which I was having trouble finding. I have a book that's MPG Mythology I can read.

message 38: by Hayley (new)

Hayley | 659 comments I just finished one that had energy drink

Hey team! If you have any books that don't work for a task, please post them for page points.

message 41: by Berra (new)

Berra | 451 comments We only need
3. Czech Republic: MPG Fairy Tale
4. Hong Kong: Set at a theme park
!!! I have a book for fairy tale but not sure if I will be able to get to it... I did see that terms and conditions (read by Shannon) was on the spreadsheet so we could move that for theme park, and then we would just need to find "author's initials are in GOULASH' which should be pretty easy!

message 42: by Berra (new)

Berra | 451 comments Okay!! I actually found a couple of stuff I can move around so I'm gonna do that now!

message 43: by Berra (new)

Berra | 451 comments So Terms and Conditions is going to Set at a theme park, GOULASH is going to be replaced by Love on the Brain, and then we would just need to find one for "featuring a tall character"

message 44: by Berra (new)

Berra | 451 comments Anyone that has books on the banked list, could check if it features a tall character

I can do a fairy tale book

Shannon The Co-Captain | 1205 comments I started to ask if the Terms and Conditions book would work for Theme Park. I wasn’t sure. The first book is definitely set at the theme park but I wasn’t sure if the second book would work or not. He doesn’t work at Dreamland but it is still part of their company. I’m glad it worked. I’ll have the last two books I’m working on done by tomorrow.

Do they ever visit the theme park? As long as part of the book, so even one scene was set a theme park I would say it counts. I just don't want to say it was part of it was set at theme park if that's not an accurate statement

I've moved everything in the sheet and have a draft for moving everything in the review thread in a document. Just want to ensure what I'm saying for how it fits is accurate, then I'll post it over there.
