He looked back to the opposite wall where Kim was. He stood bitting his lip debating.

She sighed and could hear his footsteps stop. She sat up from the bed and headed to the door. She opened it and poked her head out. "What's wrong?"

"Uh nothing." He said nervously. "Everything's fine. Just go back to bed" he said and tried for a smile.

She sighed and walked out. "You can't really hide it." She walked up to him and gently kissed his cheek.

He sighed and took a shaky laugh." I guess not. Lying isn't exactly my best suit" he said leaning closer to her.

She shook her head. "That's good. You shouldn't lie all the time." She said softly and smiled.

"I don't. I just don't want you to worry. You've got enough on your plate and with everything that's going on…" he drifted off.

She sighed. "Yeah. A bit." She admitted. Then rubbed her neck. "What were you doing out here anyways? Just watching me?"

He shook his head. "No I uh just um" he tried to think of another excuse but found none. "I was going to the other room," he said slightly ashamed as he pointed to his room. The first one he showed her with the blood and knives and pictures.

"Oh... Why?" She asked softly. Despite herself, she still was nervous about that room. It reminded her of horror movies even though he was a good guy.

"Just routine I guess?" He said shaking his head. " it's just haunting and I'd I can somehow go in there and they'd all just forgive me," he said.

She grabbed his hand. "Stop." She said softly and then looked up at him. "Why don't you give the room a break for now?"

He sighed and nodded. Before he turned back to her though he watched the door before closing his eyes. He squeezed her hand lightly

She squeezed it back and then walked back to her room. She walked him over to the bed and sat him down. "Let's just give that room a break and relax."

He looked up at her a smile playing on his lips. "You know you've already said that and I've already said yes?"

"I know, but I saw you look back into the room before we came into here. Just lay down or I can get you some tea or something."

He shook his head a smirk plastered on his face. "It's fine. It's fine" he looked up at her. " I'm fine."

"I hope you are." She said kissing him softly on the head. "I'm still going to get you something though."

"No" he said catching her arm. "Your going to stay here and go back to bed. Your exhausted."

"No I'm not." She took her arm away from him, but laid down regardless. "Fine then," she smirked at him, "you get me something to eat since I'm too exhausted to get it myself."

He smirked and kissed her forehead. "Whatever you'd like, highness" bowing. He thought about how she didn't even know that was her real title.

She chuckled slightly, she didn't even realize it herself. She laid down more into the pillow and smiled to herself as she closed her eyes.

Kavian left the room and went to the kitchen. He quickly made a sandwich and tea and brought it back to her.

"Thanks." She splits the sandwich and then hands one piece to Kavian with a smile. "Here. We can share."

He rolls his eyes but takes the sandwich. He licks the cheese that had started to fall laughing as he did so.

She saw and laughed softly along with him. She did the same and started to eat the sandwich eagerly.

He finished his sandwich and leaned back in his chair taking a sip of the tea. He put it back. "Personally for a guy that doesn't eat I think I did pretty well!"

She laughed again. "Yeah. You should cook more often." She smiled at him and then gently took his hand.

"You think?" He said staring at his hand in hers. He shouldn't be doing this but that could wait for at least an hour or two.

She nodded. "You said so yourself." She said softly and saw him staring at their hands. She gently kissed his cheek.

He bit his lip smiling and pushed hair back from his face. He held her hand tightly not waiting to lose the moment.

She put her head on his shoulder quietly as she stared down at their hands. "What are we going to do...?" She said softly.

He leaned against her closing his eyes. "I don't know," he said truthfully. "But lets not worry about that right now okay?"

She nodded a bit and gently stroked his hair. "You're hair has grown out since the first time I saw you." She said gently.

He smirked. "Yeah it does tend to do that." He said feeling it. It was longer and he nodded in approval. "Do you like it?"

"Yeah. It's soft to run my hand through if I feel like it." She smiled softly to him and gently kissed him on the lips.

He kissed her back and pulled her closer before letting go. "I have to admit. I think my hair beats yours in softness. By just a tad," he said smiling.

She laughed softly and put her head against his forehead. "That's true. Probably because your an angel." She smiled a little.

He laughed. "We'll I have something I need to tell you to. Your one too. Kind of. Well not really. Hmm I should rethink this."

"I'm more or less a goddess." She said. "Also the reason there are demons after us until I close the gate." She looked up at him.

He let go of her surprised. "How did you know that?" He asked surprised.

"I caught on and sometimes I heard Leaf talk about it." She said softly, sitting up.

(Oh man, it's been a while. I'm just trying to remember the whole thing without looking back.)

Kavian shook his head. "Right yeah. That makes sense. " he said taking out his pencil from his back pocket.

She looked and saw him take a pencil out. "What are you doing?" She asked.

He looked at her. "What do you mean?" Putting the pencil between his teeth not paying attention to what he was doing.

"The thing with the pencil... Never mind." She said. Him and Leaf did say they carved stuff into tables too. "Do you think it's safe to leave without demons getting me?"

He took out the pencil to talk. "No. This house is abandoned but only protected when I'm in it. It's special that way, " he thought "but,"

"But what?" She asked. "Does nothing apply when we are outside?"

He stood up. "I could cast a different spell." He sat back down. "But um. Why do you want to be alone?"

"Well, I mean you can come with me. I have no problem with it." She said to him gently. "I just wanted to walk around a bit."
