He smirked. "Sure," he replied simply. He looked over at her and saw her smile. His face heated slightly.

She looked at him and saw he was blushing. 'Angels can blush?' She thought. As they walked she wanted to put her hand up to his cheeks to see if it was real.

He calmed his nerves slightly. He didn't know what to say. He'd just shown her his greatest fear. I didn't know what to do. He shivered uncontrollably at the thought of the room.

"You alright?" She said feeling him shiver as she held his hand. "Is it cold or something? It's getting dark so it gets colder." She said sweetly.

"Uh no I'm not cold. Just tired I guess," he said quietly. He looked at her and tried for a reassuring smile. He wasn't exactly sure it would work.

"Oh." She said with a smile on her face. "Uh, we can go back to bus if you want?" She shrugged. "I don't want you to fly if you're tired."

He sighed at the idea. "More mentally tired than physically. But sadly I don't think I can conjure up enough glamour to hide us. I think we might have to settle for something more… grounding "

"Grounding?" She asked. "What do you mean by grounding?" She looked at him as she talked.

'"Some sort of transportation on the ground?" He asked. Her looked back at her. Her face. Her mouth and nose. Finally falling on her eyes.

"Let's just take the bus. It's always cheaper, but if you want to remain hidden we can take a cab." She said with the nod of her head.

"Either one," he said. "You decide, I don't really care. " he said. He squeezed her fingers slightly. A simple quick motion.

"It looks like a bus stop is close by. We can just take the bus." She said walking down the stairs before opening it. She walked back on the sidewalk.

He nodded. It was still barely light outside but it was enough for him to cringe. It had started to rain. He put a hand out and watched the water collect there. Then he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. "You know what lets take a cab," he said nervously.

"What?" She said looking at him. She saw his worry in his eyes and wondered why he was suddenly worried about taking the bus. "Why?" She asked.

"Oh just reasons. Where's somewhere with lots of cover?" He asked slyly. He waved down a cab and motioned her to get in.

"Hmm. The mall is probably the place with most cover." She got into the cab and scooted over so he had room.

"Good good okay mall" he slid into the seat but before closing the door he whispered something in the drivers ear. The guy nodded. He shut the door and looked out the rear window.

She looked at him questionably. "What's wrong?" She asked again. She was starting to let her imagination take over and think of pretty horrid situations.

"Nothing," he cut himself off, yet, he thought. "The mall is near the forest right?" he asked.

"Yeah..." She said uncertainly as the cab drove drew traffic. "You are aware that I'm powerful right? If your worried about anything, I'll be fine." She said.

He looked up at her. "Your only powerful when you know how to control it. Otherwise it is a burden." He slid his hand across the seat and grabbed her own. "Ill teach you, just not here and not now. " he squeezed her hand lightly.

She hated to know he was right, but she wanted to know why they were heading to the mall and the woods. When the cab stopped she sighed.

He payed the fare and exited the cab. When they both were out he laced there fingers together again and started walking to the entrance.

She followed close by him as the rain fell on the floor. She gave up on trying to figure out what's going on with him. With all the covers, the rain just bounced off, but you could still hear it.

He walked thriugh the entrance and shook his head rain dripping onto his jacket. He stood and watched the people for a second, trying to listen, hopeless with the rain.

The covers were just tarps so the rain rolled down them and the center of everything. She sighed when they walked they had to wall into visible rain area and get wet.

He went to the middle of the hall and turned in a circle. He caught sight of something and motioned her into a random shop.

She followed him and then quickly grabbed him back out. "Woah! Not a good idea to go in there. Other store." She said. The store he was walking in was a women's store and there was panties and bras everywhere.

"Just store. Now." He said looking over his shoulders again. He was sure someone was tailing them. As soon as they left the apartment. He had asked the taxi driver to take the most complicated way possible. Not like he wouldn't already. He caught another flash out of the corner of his eye.

She walked into the store like he said and turned around. She couldn't see anything. "Do you just hate the rain?" She asked him softly.

He looked to her. "We'll it's not my favorite thing in the world. " he said and laughed a little.

She sighed. "That's not a good answer. Do you like it or not? Is that the reason we are hiding?" She asked pretending to look around.

He shrugged. "I neither like nor dislike it." He said. "It's one of those things that can be annoying but you don't really care. You know?" He tried to keep the conversation off of being followed.

"I don't get you sometimes... Anyways, is there a possibility we are being followed?" She asked softly as she looked through stuff.

He flinched slightly. "Wh-why do you ask?" He said slightly nervous. He looked away from her and studied a rack of clothes.

"I can tell. You keep looking back and around, as well as trying to hide." She said picking up a bra and quickly dropping it.

He closed his eyes and caused under his breath. "What would you do if we were?" He asked suddenly.

"Well, it wouldn't be a good idea if we stay in one place. We need to keep moving around." She said looking at him then nodding her head to the door.

"We can't go out the door yet," he said his eyes still closed. "Come here. And don't look out the window" he whispered.

She moved towards him quietly. She bit her lip slightly as she looked outside and still couldn't see anything. "What does it look like?"

H shook his head. "I don't know, it's fast and lethal. " he gripped her hand and tried to think.

She squeezed his hand. "It's okay. I'm pretty sure we can handle it." Kim said softly trying to make him feel better.

Kavian looked for a back entrance. Back to the window. To her. "We need to go. " he said.

She sighed at his lack of details. She just nodded. "You lead the way since you know where to go." She said.

He felt his hand and hers and took streght from it. Gently pulling her in between racks he made his way to the door. Easing it open and out side. He looked for the easiest entrance to the woods.

She followed behind him, but earned a few hits. She gritted her teeth slightly and knew he was trying to head to the forest.

He say something out of the corner of his eye. The now empty streets. "Run…" he whispered before taking off into the woods gripping Kim the whole way. A roar cried out from behind them.

"What the heck is that?!" She yelled when she heard a roar. She was started to slow down since he was running faster.

He looked back for half a second. He looked at her desperately. "Run faster," he said. Slowing down so he was behind her.

"I'm trying! It's muddy and—ah!" She tripped and fell down in the mud. She sighed and sat up to wipe the mud off her face.
