Kristen; Congratulations! Good luck on the Bingo Challenge.

This is the first Bingo Challenge I've ever been able to complete, mostly because I didn't try to preselect my books. I read what I wanted to, at the moment, in each category. That qualifies it as BONIG.
A few notes on my selections:
Number 9: Holiday story--I chose Cycle of the Werewolf. It covers several holidays rather than just one. King admits he took liberties with the lunar cycle to take advantage of those days of the year.
Number 19: Recommendation from a GR user-- I used Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy. I had mentioned to a GR friend that I was done with Star Wars. I was satisfied with the original trilogy. She recommended Zahn's trilogy and the Non-Canon SW books. I'm glad she did.
Number 20: Set in a city you want to visit--I had a hard time with this one. The military had afforded me the opportunity to visit all the places in the world I had any interest in, so I went outside the box and thought: "I'd like to visit Mars." So I chose Red Mars. I'd still like to visit Mars. Just after it's been terraformed and the political strife has settled down. :D
Number 23: Supposed to read for school but didn’t--As far as I can remember back to HS and college, I'd read all the books I was supposed to. So, I had to go to a book that was on the shelf in the English classroom in 1980-1984 (there were 20 copies of it, so it had been required at some point; just not for me.) Thus, I chose On the Beach.
It's been fun, and quite satisfying. Thank you for the challenge.
EDIT: 25/25; message 49.
