This year, we’re continuing to expand the "Book" of the Month picks to "Theme" of the Month for February through December. You’re welcome to pick any title that meets that month’s theme. Theme of the Month reads also count toward the yearly reading challenge! For January, the members who finished the 2023 Reading Challenge will select a single title for January’s read.
While you’re welcome to read any book that fits the theme for February through December, keep in mind that your fellow members are likely to consider your picks for their own reading. For that reason, we encourage you to select any kind of comic (American, European, manga, etc) that meets the following guidelines:
- Available in English - Available digitally (legally) - Available in print - Is not an omnibus or multi-volume collection
The themes for 2024 are:
January: 2023 challenge finishers’ pick Description: Finishers select one title together
February: Non-cape comics made into a movie or show Description: Already or soon to be released
March: Comics by women Description: At least one creator is a woman
