Rowan MacDonald | 66 comments Hi librarians,

Fellow librarian here. I'm trying to add an ACE for a book. By following the Librarian Manual it says:

"All book pages have a link to automatically create an ACE. Next to the Add a New Edition link, we have added an option to Add an Alternate Cover Edition."

I can't find that link. I just see "Combine editions. Separate editions. Add a new edition."

Any help much appreciated! Thank you.

Thanks so much for that! I have found it now. I appreciate your help!

Edit: I see you're making a common beginner mistake. The ACE should not have the Edition Pub Date of the original cover image. It should be the date when the new cover version was published. Often we don't know exactly when, and then we go with current YY-MM.
