You should definitely check out Surviving Raine & Sebastian's Storm by Shay Savage. A favorite series and author of mine; she writes an excellent male POV (most of her stories are strictly male POV which is refreshing). In the above mentioned, the hero is an alcoholic.

Sarah, I loved this serious. It was had the most believable amount of relationship angst. Sometimes NA gets on my last nerve because of all the trauma, these characters in contrast were the kind of messed up you could relate to, maybe a little too much.
