I listen to 70's music for a large part of the time; Todd Rundgren, The Alan Parsons' Project, Steely Dan, etc. I also stick my toe into jazz and ambient and other genres.I'm not too bad a singer and since I retired I've been playing with recording some songs and composing some ambient music.

My wife introduced me to this song and I'm eternally grateful. Most of Blind Guardian's music is heavier, so I don't know if that's Bardcore, or if heavier stuff is better known as Fantasy Metal. Also worth noting though is that Blind Guardian has some rad album covers:

Fanny was pretty good, I don't know why they weren't more well known. I only heard of them a couple of years ago and I was around in the 70s.
I think I only know of Fanny because I'm a Todd Rundgren fan and he produced one of their albums. What I've heard was pretty good.
