Share Christian fantasy books here! If y’all have any with some Christian themes/messages as well as books by some Christian authors, that’d be great! :)

The Mark of the Raven trilogy

message 15: by Sophie (new)

Sophie | 2 comments Dragons in Our Midst / Oracles of Fire / Children of the Bard - 3x connected series of 4x books (12 total), by Bryan Davis. Highly recommend.

The Binding of the Blade - 5x books, complete, by L.B. Graham

The Chronicles of Pylisya - 1x book with #2 due this year, by S.J. Coates

The Pendragon Cycle - 5x books, with a 6th that is slightly connected (but not necessary), by Stephen Lawhead

All of the above are by Christian authors. Lawhead's are the most adult of the series (but still clean!) whereas the other 3 are more teen/young adult.

Tara West (authortarawest) | 1 comments Why I wrote my Christian Science Fiction/ Fantasy book Eternity Now. I love nonfiction and apologetics so never thought I'd write fiction but I think fiction was the best place to dive into this particular topic. So here is the why.....

The inspiration for this book came from a question that has long haunted me: What could possibly be so alluring, so compelling, that it would cause Christians to openly deny Christ in the End Times? The notion seemed unfathomable until I began to explore a truth that lay hidden in plain sight.
The core of Eternity Now is built upon a profound realization: the most enticing lie is one that mimics a perfect truth. A story my husband told me that he had heard when he was younger about the Latin phrase sine cera, or "without wax," became the moral compass of this journey. It’s a principle that speaks of a beauty so flawless it needs no deception. My characters must confront the deceptive allure of a man-made paradise and face the central question: would they trade a genuine, eternal life for a counterfeit, earthly forever?

The second is a quote from C.S. Lewis, a writer who profoundly shaped my understanding of faith and suffering. He wrote, "Can you not see death as the friend and deliverer? It means stripping off that body which is tormenting you. What are you afraid of? Has this world been so kind to you that you should leave it with regret?" These words became the very heart of the resistance, asking the most profound question of all: What is truly worth fearing, and what is truly worth losing?

This is not a book about the sensationalism of the apocalypse, but about the deeply personal spiritual war that precedes it, one that mirrors the prophetic vision of the book of Revelation. My love of apologetics, coupled with the profound works of C.S. Lewis, Thomas Merton, G.K. Chesterton, Charles Williams, and Dorothy Sayers, shaped my approach. I hope that this story will challenge you to look at your own worldly attachments.

-----
Satan always offers a counterfeit. So if eternal heavenly life is our ultimate gift, it makes sense that Satan would attempt to offer up the counterfeit version of that to us. An "eternal" worldly life. Would you willing accept that trade? That is the premise of my book.
Can't wait to hear some feedback.😄
