                                ~Early Easter!~

This was our mini challenge in April 2015

Just when you thought Easter was a few months away! You are invited to join our UNO Easter Egg Hunt while waiting for UNO to begin.

Easter Egg Hunt
So many coloured eggs! Try and collect them all!

Read books with a cover that is predominantly one of these covers. As a group, we can only read one of each colour. :
♔ Blue
♔ Brown
♔ Gold
♔ Orange
♔ Green
♔ Yellow
♔ Grey
♔ Purple
♔ Pink
♔ Red
♔ Yellow
♔ Black
♔ White

Easter Scavenger Hunt
Find these words... they are all products used to naturally dye eggs for Easter
Read books that contains one of these words in the text or title (plurals are acceptable). You can claim each word more than once (there is no limit), HOWEVER, you can only claim a maximum of three words per book.

♔ Blueberry
♔ Grape
♔ Coffee
♔ Walnut
♔ Tea
♔ Dill
♔ Chilli
♔ Turmeric
♔ Spinach
♔ Chlorophyll
♔ Apple
♔ Beetroot
♔ Onion
♔ Carrot
♔ Paprika
♔ Craberry
♔ Raspberry
♔ Hibiscus
♔ Red Wine
♔ Orange
♔ Lemon
♔ Chamomile
♔ Celery
♔ Cumin
♔ Saffron

When you have read a book, post in this thread and add to this spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

◈ You can't use the same book for the egg hunt and scavenger hunt. That means if you have a pink book that contains the words "saffron" and "grape" you will need to decide if you want to use it for the colour OR the words. It can not be used for both.
◈ Books read between January 25 and 31 count
◈ The usual book length rules apply, Books must be more than 100 pages in length and Children's books and Graphic Novels can not be used unless by word count they can be verified as more than 25,000 words using arbookfind.com or are more than 3 hours in audio

I see the same thing.

Karen ⊰✿ | 3767 comments Someone copied and pasted that in at 2am my time this morning according to the version history.
So I've restored the prior version.
Unfortunately if it happens again I'll have to lock down the spreadsheet and you'll need to request edit access which means you'll need to be logged into google to change and it will show who does what. Hopefully we don't get to that and it was just an innocent mistake someone made

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 1020 comments I'm guessing someone had more than one SS open and got them confused? These things happen, I guess, lol.

Yes hopefully. It didn't seem to be an intentional hack with 'I hate easter eggs' or anything. LOL

LOL! Now I have a mental image of some notorious hacker wanted by all the 3-letter agencies logging onto GR to see which spreadsheets they don't approve of 😂

message 32: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 1020 comments I have read a few that had none whatsoever (sci-fi is rarely good for food!). My current read has celery and tea so far. Hopefully I'll catch another before I'm done.
