MountainKat | 31601 comments We just read it whenever we can in April and come back to this thread to comment. You would want to use spoiler tags though, especially if you are one of the first to read it.

MountainKat | 31601 comments I've actually read that one already - it was fun, typical EL. And if you are doing the A-Z challenges - it has a U female, so win!

Fran | 12278 comments *SPOILERS*

Not sure if anything I've written here would spoil anything for anyone who hasn't read it yet, but just in case, I put the header on top of the post :)

I finished this one last night. I liked it. But I wish Josh and Stu had gotten their acts together a lot earlier in the story. It felt too rushed at the end, I would have liked to have seen them get to know each other as something besides enemies a lot sooner.

I enjoyed watching Josh grow from an insecure teen to a successful, more confident man, but I learned very little about Stu, and never felt much of a connection to him. Except that he was a hostile jerk to Josh for what seemed like forever.

Yep! To everything you said. I finished this yesterday and it was just ok for me, three stars like you Fran. I think the last straw for me was (view spoiler). I really don't think he had grown up all that much or come to terms with his feelings.

~KarenH~ | 11348 comments Thanks for all the reminders, Fran! Even though I get the ARe emails every day, I still seem to miss them!

message 34: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new) - rated it 3 stars

~KarenH~ | 11348 comments I just realized I never came here after I finished reading this month's book! I pretty much agree with both Fran and Kat - I liked Josh, but just could never warm up to Stu. Of course, if the story had been written from his perspective that probably would be reversed, but as it was I had a hard time really getting invested in them as a couple. I did like the story, but like Fran I do wish there had been less emphasis on all the time they spent "hating" each other and more time resolving their issues and coming together as a couple.

message 36: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments I finally read this in early May and I did really enjoy it. A very extended enemies to lovers!! I didn't mind that it took so long, but really - Stu was a bit ridiculous on this anger issues in the end...
