Is it worth the read discussion

I have some books on my tbr that I feel like get very mixed reviews, please lmk if you’ve read any of these and what you thought! 🩷
- divine rivals
- one of us is lying
- when in rome
- checkmate

the only one i’ve read it one of us is lying and it was pretty good! a lot of people didn’t like it tho but it’s a really fun read imo :)

Divine Rivals is so good! The second book is okay, would still recommend though

Divine rivals is amazing!

I liked One of Us is Lying when I read it but I do think it has problematic elements. Personally, I prefer the second one and it’s way better in my opinion! Definitely give it a try if you love Pretty Little Liars type of reads!

Divine Rivals is INCREDIBLE. TRULY AMAZING. One of Us Is Lying was okay… it’s not my favorite genre so I didn’t enjoy it that much!

It’s a cute story, it’s young (18-19 year olds so very YA) - it’s a sweet, book.. I personally didn’t feel like it was anything to ride home about. It’s definitely more romance with a tiny hint of fantasy.

i would not read one of us is lying. instead, i would read a good girls guide to murder. i read the first one of us is lying book and i was repulsed. it put me in a slump. i hated it.
