Okay, so I've read chapters 1-5 and I'm kinda loving it

The chapter designs are lovely and they are my favorite thing.

I'm confused about Jeb (view spoiler)[I'm not sure how I feel about him. I'm worried he'll turn out to be a jerk and I don't want him to because he's precious. (hide spoiler)]

Was her father (view spoiler)[planning on telling Alyssa about the electroshock therapy at all? I don't know, I feel signing off on it without even a discussion was really lame. Alyssa's well old enough to be a part of such decisions. (She is 17, isn't she? She said Jeb was 2 years older and he's 19, but I don't remember her ever saying her age.) (hide spoiler)]

And another thing! (view spoiler)[That thing that happens in YA novels where the MC acts a little immature for her age is happening. It's not that big of a deal, but it bothered me slightly so I'm pointing it out. (hide spoiler)]

I think I'm done for today, but I'll come back if I decide to read more.

I finished chapter 12.

The whole world of Wonderland is lovely and beautiful, but it isn't overly descriptive so I still get to be imaginative and I love that.

Morpheus (view spoiler)[is freaking terrifying. I'm having a hard time finding his silver lining. I understand Alyssa loves him because she "grew up" with him, but I don't know, man. He needs to chill.
If he's in a relationship with Ivory, why's he so upset about Alyssa/Jeb? Why is that a thing? (hide spoiler)]

Jeb- (view spoiler)[So he isn't the complete jerk I was worried he'd be. I actually kind of like him. He's over protective and controlling, but he's not despicable. (hide spoiler)]

I could totally do without (view spoiler)[the love triangle that appears to be forming. I hope I'm wrong, maybe I'm just a negative person, I don't know, but I don't want a love triangle to exist, I don't. (hide spoiler)]

It started out a little slow, but I think it picked up a lot after she entered Wonderland.

So I finished this last night.

I always tend to fall in love with the "bad guy" in a show or series, and that's slightly frustrating. (view spoiler)[And I'm still considering Morpheus the bad guy despite the ending, cause omg he's kind of awful. I don't 100% forgive him yet, maybe that will come in subsequent books, I don't know. (hide spoiler)]

There was a whole lot going on in this book, I spent most of the time confused on who to trust, which made it a little difficult to get into, I think. I feel like, if the next book even remotely continues the plot, I need to read it immediately in order to remember everything that happened.

EDIT: Also Alison (are there two 'L's? Allison?) (view spoiler)[I'm glad her relationship with her daughter improved and everything, but I don't believe that whole "miraculous recovery" thing would ever work irl. (hide spoiler)]

I'm gonna start this today and I'm excited I heard such good things about it

Up to chapter 5

Alyssa: (view spoiler)[ She's a good main character so far I don't find her immature or anything but I think she does have a little growing up to do and yeah but I love her and I hope she gets to kick-ass soon (hide spoiler)]

Jeb: (view spoiler)[ I love this kid so much and I can kind of tell that he likes her a lot because that scene in the car oh my god I love them together and I hope they get together (hide spoiler)]

Her Parents: (view spoiler)[ I feel so bad for her parents because her mom has the curse that has been pasted down from generation since Alice and then her dad loves her mom so much and everything I wonder what she is gonna do to break the curse so it doesn't effect Alyssa (hide spoiler)]

up to chapter 10 and holy wow

Morphus: (view spoiler)[ I'm starting to like him when I don't want to like him this is getting bad like no I can't and then I feel like he is going to do something bad which is not good ugh (hide spoiler)]

Wonderland: (view spoiler)[ This is not like the Alice in wonderland it scary like I would never want to go into wonderland by myself because I would get eaten and everything but it's pretty cool (hide spoiler)]

Alyssa: (view spoiler)[ I felt like she has grown so much within the chapters and everything and we will se how it goes throughout the book and who will she choose because she certainly has feelings for both of them (hide spoiler)]

Up to chapter 15 and damn!

Alyssa & Jeb: (view spoiler)[ Okay really I love these two together so much you do not understand if this is starting to form a love triangle I am team Jeb all the way I do not care I do not like Morphus at all (hide spoiler)]

More Task: (view spoiler)[ Well morphus lied to them and now they have to get the vorpal sword and kill queen red step sister and now he is just using them to bring his friend back and the love of his life back which makes me mad but yeah (hide spoiler)]

The parties: (view spoiler)[ The parties were very interesting and everything and then something happened where they got ambushed and everything which i'm like what which was epic that Morphus saved them and I feel proud of him that he is not a complete jerk but even though he is trying to get in the was of my otp i'm okay with him (hide spoiler)]

I finished and oh wow

Alyssa: (view spoiler)[ well we found out that she is the descendent of queen red I did not see that coming and also that she is queen now which is wow, I can't wait to see what happeneds in the next book (hide spoiler)]

Jeb & Morpheus: (view spoiler)[ well this is interesting because I knew this was gonna turn into a love triangle and I don't know who to choose either Jeb or Morpheus and I'm like ugh (hide spoiler)]

The Next Book: (view spoiler)[ I wonder what's gonna happened in the next book and how it is gonna be with red and also if her mom goes into wonderland which will be interesting (hide spoiler)]
