Q'orianka | 59 comments Whats "merge"?

because i have seen people asking for it and the leave the links below and librarians like "join" the links.....

does it works for diferent editions? like if i read a book in spanish and i finish it, then it is "read", but if i enter the page of the book in english then its normal if its appear as "read" too?
because it happens to me with some books, but not with all

Can someone please expain and let me know if you can understand what i mean?

Renske | 12220 comments What you looking for is what we call here 'combine', merge means here deleting an edition.

In general that Spanish edition should be combined with the English edition so they show together as part of the same work.

If a book isn't combined it is likely it just that no one has noticed it, but there are cases we don't combine, as is explained here https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

If you see a book you think needs combing, you can make a request (with the links) in the 'Book & Author Page Issues' folder of this group.
