@Ab...I read the first three Eragon books...that was when I knew nothing about the genre...and you know, as an intro to the world of fantasy (when you don't know that they're full of recycled tropes and cheesy sh*t that's copied and thinly disguised) the books aren't half bad. I mean a fifteen year old kid man, you gotta give him some credit...full grown men and women just dream about writing books and never do...this kid went and wrote four.
And then I read Tad Williams....
And then I found all the awesome fantasy blogs out there...
And I never got around to book 4.
