(New/Debut) Authors vs. (Well-Known) Authors Challenge
Just like our Author vs Author, Disney vs. Pixar, and Marvel vs. DC challenges, we decided to do another 'March Madness Bracket' challenge again with authors.
One side of the bracket will only have categories for well-known authors and the other side will only contain categories for new/debut authors. At the beginning of this challenge, we will start with 16 authors on each side.
That being said, a lot is going to be happening during this challenge. In the beginning, you can read for any author’s category. So, for the first week you have about 32 authors to spread your books throughout. Each author will have about 6 tasks within it. However, you don’t have all of the categories throughout the entire challenge.
At the end of each week, authors will be eliminated. This will be based on points per author on each side. How would that look?
**Sorry it looks so small on the sign up, but each team's SS will have a bigger one!
For example,
So, if an author vs. author looked like -
at the end of the week - then Kamilah Cole would be available to read for the next week. Bethany Baptiste would be knocked out of the challenge and the tasks are no longer readable.
What if the authors are tied at the end of the week?
Well, if an author vs. author looked like -
at the end of the week - then I would roll the dice (or flip a coin) to see which author would move to the next round. For this example, Bethany Baptiste won and has moved on to the next round. Kamilah Cole tasks are no longer available to read.
