Action/Adventure Aficionados discussion

Our March group read theme is Apocalypse. The Oxford Language Dictionary defines it as, "an event involving destruction or damage on an awesome or catastrophic scale."

So, we can nominate based on the above definition.

Please, please, please check the list of previous group reads as we have had other books we've read that might fit this theme, and they aren't eligible to be nominated again. Also make sure that you are following the other guidelines below.

1. One nomination per group member. The books must be nominated with a Goodreads link by clicking on 'add book/author'. If a book does not have a Goodreads link, it will not be added to the poll.
2. Books need to be readily available, ie, in print (able to buy new or in ebook format).
3. Books should have some degree of action/adventure content.
4. Past group reads are not eligible to be nominated again. The past group discussions remain open for members to comment. You can view the list of past reads here:

I nominate Dies the Fire by S.M. Stirling.

I was just looking through my list. This is a hard subject for me, as these books tend to be so depressing as all the humans turn on each other in most of them. And most of my list actually turned out to be dystopian, so I guess I've got nothing!

I will nominate Sand by Hugh Howey
