Monthly Challenge: March 2024

Welcome to our monthly Listopia Madness challenge. It is a relatively simple challenge. Every month you will get 3 listopia lists from me and 3 from the winners of the previous month. *Please note that if you do not respond in a reasonable amount of time that the 4th place person (and so on) will replace you until we get 3 lists.

How it works
📘You will read as many books as you want from as many of the lists provided as you want.
📘You will score each book using the point system provided below
📘You will keep a running tally of your total in your post (try to keep your books in one comment, if possible for easy tracking)
📘I will contact the 3 highest-scoring readers at the end of the month and they will each choose one listopia list to be included in the next month's challenge.

📘No poetry or cookbooks allowed.

For some reason GR doesn't like giving me notifications for that thread, even though I'm signed up for them. GR also likes to have me unfollow discussions at random in this group. Not in other groups for some reason.

I went with the historical fiction list I didn't pick last month in order to go easy on you all.

Before you all throw things at me, be aware this list could be useful for at least 2 of the first batch of easter eggs! 😆

My List may not work for everyone, but I’ve got a challenge that favors shorter books, and this one will be mostly light and easy…..

I found one on your list that's on my tbr Tru, and it's one I had mentally assigned to "read soon" anyway, so yay!

Downside: It's absolutely rubbish for UNO 😂

I am seriously rethinking my beginning of the year plan to attack my TBR with vigor, in order to read books that I have bought over the years. These lists are not my friend. Again. teehee

Off to see if there are any freebies on Audible or KU since they are not on my shelves...

I'm trying to read as many of the books that I don't think I'll want to keep as I can, so I won't have to drag them along when we move.

Naturally challenges always decide otherwise 😂
