2025 Reading Challenge discussion

i came across this petition in another group here on goodreads and i think it deserves as much support as it can get! signing it takes like 2 seconds and is absolutely free!
this has nothing to do with me (to be honest, i didn't even look at what city/country this is in), but it's a lovely idea. the people of that city want to get their government to consider expanding their library, which has been the same size for 25 years. without enough signatures, the next chance for taking this to the government would be 2018 and that's just ridiculous in my opinion.

let's help those people achieve their goal! it takes no time at all, is completely free and might make a great change in the world :)

I too agree this is a good cause, but just want to warn people that if you do not live in the area you might want to hold off signing the petition. Some cities/states require those who sign the petition to live in that area, and I would hate to see this community fail to get a library because not enough signatures come from their county.
