I was just reading through your preceding posts, and honestly there's no right or wrong way to do this. And long as it works for you (and it looks like it is), then this is your space to organize as you wish 😊.
In regards to linking, that option isn't available from the app, so if you ever do want to link book titles or authors it has to be done from a browser .
Now on to the important stuff! Congratulations on surpassing your goals, both times! That's so awesome 🥳

Reading goal might increase at the current rate I’m getting through books, but at the same time it’s always easier to curl up with a book in the wet, grey days at the beginning of the year!
