Play Book Tag discussion

Has anyone read The Librarianist by Patrick deWitt. Just wondering if anyone has feedback before I jump in. Reading is tough for me these days so I'm being selective in my book choices.

It’s on the Tournament of books lists this year. I know Joy read it, and maybe others.

Sally, I read it and think you can select a better book. The writing was good, but the plot line was uneven. There's an interlude in the middle of it that is totally unnecessary to the rest of the book. And the story does end in a sad way.
