I should be cheering right now. But sorry 😬 I think the worse punishment I can remember ever getting was not being allowed to read (at all) for a week. It definitely made me more responsible but it was awful. lol.

I'm thankful my parents never did that. the only thing they ever did like that was tell my sister she couldn't read anything else until she read her book for school once.

Not mean, they just no the effective way to make us book worms be more responsible 😂 I got in trouble so many times for reading when I had stuff to do (I’m talking like 10 years old) and finally they decided just to say no books. It worked pretty well 😂

I can’t bring myself to use that as a consequence. It would be so contradictory.🤭
