Minus a few content things, I absolutely loved it. Rebecca Ross' writing is just so beautiful and nostalgic and immersive and oddly cozy, even when the situations she's writing about aren't. It's for sure my favorite read so far this month. 💕

It's also thrown me into a bit of a book hangover, ha. I now have an intense craving for more of the story, but as I don't have the sequel available to me at the moment, I'm trying (and failing) to satisfy that craving with other books. If only my library's waitlist for a copy of Ruthless Vows weren't so long!

I went through the same thing!!! Ok… I skimmed the spicy sections - it isn’t my style.The next book is… hard to put down. My Mr has learned that I’m not reachable when I get into a good read like that. Haha! Sammies for dinner. Haha!!

Yeah I skimmed and skipped over those scenes too. I don't mind a little kissing, but I definitely don't need to know what's going on beyond that. Though I do appreciate that they actually got married first, which is refreshing to see in a secular book. Still doesn't mean I want to read about it though, heh. 😅
