IBR - The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown

The Invisible College is the community of scientists who turn away from the visible metrics of success in status quo institutions (like publications, job titles, and awards), to focus on the invisible roots of science: curiosity, dialogue, and the subjective hunch.
Noetic Science - Since 1973, IONS (Institute of Noetic Science) has been at the forefront of the scientific investigation of consciousness and its role in our lives and the physical world. Through intensive research and groundbreaking experimentation, we explore the interconnection between personal, inner space and the “outer space” of our shared reality. (My description from what I read - mind over matter, telekinesis - sounds like something Dan Brown would use in a book)
Now I'll get back to the book.😉
I thought I posted yesterday, but it was a crazy day.
I though for people who are supposed to be very intelligent, they are quite gullible!

I'm 50% done.....

I finished the book. It did pick up and I didn't hate it! Lol
I grew up around Masons and Eastern Star people and Shriners, but never knew any of these things they believe or think they are protecting.
I've never been to DC; I really need to go.
You will find out those things as you read on.

This is one of my least favorite books by Dan Brown in the Robert Langdon series. But the Masons are not that interesting.
The very ending felt extremely anticlimactic.
I listened to the audiobook for this one instead of reading. I think I like reading Brown's books better.
I still want to read the remaining 2 books in the series, no rush, just in the next few months or so for the next one.
The masons have never been interesting to me. I know these books are supposed to make them more so, but it doesn't for me either.

I may have liked this one more than the others - but that isn't saying a lot. I'm good to read the other 2 as well, but would like to wait a bit. June, maybe for the next....or possibly May.
