Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

When making announcements please could you use dates that will not be misunderstood. When a change is taking place on 11th March and you write it as 3/11 I automatically read it as 3rd November.
In the recent instance I quickly realised what it meant but this can sometimes cause confusion which isn't so easily resolved.
