I read Feast more than 20 years ago, I think... it's still living rent free in my brain! Just ran into a cool review of it by Grady Hendrix.

I actually haven’t read it yet, but I’m enjoying Black River Orchard so much that the synopsis I read for another one of his novels, Wanderers, sounds like it would go well with this theme.
