Sibil | 784 comments I am reading this book A Memory Of Song First Verse Of The Last Ballad (Epic Fantasy) by Scott Palmer but there isn't listed the number of pages. And there isn't even one on Amazon. What can I do? Can I contact the author and ask him? (He sent me the book to review, so I guess it won't be a bother)

Here is how you can figure out the page count for a book in Kindle format.

Look at the ebook version on your kindle and see how many total locations the book has. If you open the book and just tap the screen, it will say this at the bottom: "Location 2 of 4996" (or something like that). Take that total number, "4996," and divide it by 15.

4996 locations / 15 = 333.0666666666667 pages

Drop the decimal points for the page count. You will round up or down depending on the decimal number (.5 and above will round up, & anything below.5 will round down).

The total page count for this example is 333 pages.

*4996 is just an example of a made-up book location, lol.

Oh, why can't you rate/review it? If you want, you can send me a PM with your thoughts on the book. Then you would just post on the team's review thread with the book, and for review, mention that you sent me a PM.

Sorry, I don't know why but it worked today, and the information box wasn't on the book's page anymore.

Oh, Goodreads, you never seem to want to work correctly anymore. Glad you were able to finally write it!

Aneta | 1305 comments Hi Alaina, I think points in team Chapter Champs might be a little off. I posted review for 4 books (Murder Road, Nightwatching, The Wrong Bride and A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking) but scores shows only 3 books. Can you please check it?

Updated! Sorry, it was right on my spreadsheet; it just wasn't in the score updates.

Kim | 3485 comments I don't know why I can't ever remember this rule, but for books that were read across multiple months (March-May) how are the points recorded? just pages that were read during the challenge time? also, how many pages allow for it to be used for a task? Thanks in advance!

Yes, pages read during the challenge will count. So, for this one - pages read in April & May would count for this challenge. For the monthly, pages read in May would count. Both challenges are page points, though. For the solo, pages read in April & May would count towards the task if you read 100+ pages.

Brittni | 1378 comments Hi Alaina,

It looks like a few people have messaged about this as well. Wondering if I can jump into this challenge late? I'm really enjoying the May anniversary one.

And to confirm, if I can join I can add the books that I've read within the months the challenge is running? Thanks so much!
