I would say Chestnut Springs series the second book Heartless has an 8 year age gap and book four Hopeless has an 12 year age gap.

Also the Dirty air series by Lauren Asher has age gap too. I just read two books from that series and it's so good.

Heartless + Hopeless by Elsie Silver

His Pretty Little Burden (Kids of the District #4) and its sequel His Pretty Little Queen (Kids of the District #5) by Nicci Harris!

They're part of a series, but it's not necessary to read the first three books to understand the plot. There are also some serious events that could be upsetting so if you don't like such surprises, it could be worth reading the trigger warnings. Otherwise, definitely recommend the two books — they pack an emotional, angsty-but-worth-it punch along with spicy moments and romantic tenderness :')
