angeline (ramblingdaydreams) writing at a study cafe or library helps me focus and i feel more inspired for some reason

rae (jurdan's version) one of my favorite practices is to give yourself a base (so like choose a photo or a meme) and set yourself a 5min timer and write a story based off of your base. once the timer is done you finish writing. you can ofc change the time but i like 5mins it’s not too long but you can write a good amount in that time. don’t worry about making it perfect no one is gonna see it (unless you want someone to) it just gets your creative juices flowing and you’re writing more. idk if that makes sense but yeah 🫶

Magnolia (maysmagnolia) | 12 comments I find that reading lots of different author’s works helps. And also feeling confident with grammar rules. Maybe searching up synonyms for words and learning vocabulary even in if you’re writing in your first language.
