Getting spammed for review copies by a bunch of fake accounts that all give the same two email addresses. No reviews yet.

I am experiencing the same flood of bad rankings with no profiles on the users. My ratings dropped 2 stars also.

I keep reporting the accounts has spam, but I don't know what to do besides that. If a bot is generating the accounts Goodreads might have some issues trying to combat it.

Hi, well at least you can see your reviews. I have three books on Goodreas, all with positive reviews that have gone missing and the team at Goodreads can't seem to restore. Even the new ones for my latest book vanished the minute they were posted.

Are they actual reviews or spam. If it is spam, report it and then ignore.

I got bombed with fake ranking reviews last Saturday and Sunday. My 4.5 average ranking dropped to 1.86. Julia I solved the problem by going to "Contact". Fill out the form. I went to each link to see the profile. There was no picture or access as each profile was marked "private". I copied the link OF EACH PROFILE (not the bad ranking link) and pasted with my detailed explanation. I submitted that Sunday evening. Monday morning I had a response from Goodreads that they would investigate. Monday afternoon those fake rankings were eliminated and those accounts were blocked. My average ranking returned to 4.5. Less than 24 hrs. Goodreads responded. Really quite serious in protecting their authors. I hope this helps.

Good to know, and thanks for the instructions. Although, at this point, I'd welcome a few bots to leave a rating.

Yes same here. I went to these fake profiles pushed more to right on profile blocked and reported 5 fake accounts. And contacted Goodreads at bottom of my author page and explained what's going on. And asked them to take fake rankings with no book purchase made off and two days later problem was resolved. Don't let these evil people ruin your rankings take action! God bless.

THANK YOU for sharing. Luckily, I've had only one bad review, and that didn't affect my overall ranking. However, I'm grateful that I now know what to do if this becomes an issue for me.
