Cleanest Ali Hazelwood Book?

I have only read two of them, but Check & Mate was definitely less dirty than the other, but I didn't find Check & Mate to be very offensive, so I am not sure if she is necessarily the right author for you :) I hope you do find one though!!!! Sorry I can't be of more help!

Thanks for your thoughts! :-)

Stay away from Bride. It was good, but it’s romance… was definitely a lot heavier than her other books. It featured ABO dynamics. Not exactly my favorite trope to be honest.
Her novellas weren’t too bad and the bundle wasn’t too expensive. They all have (sex, cussing, and etc), but it’s short. Under One Roof was probably the tamer of the three.
Honestly, the first book of hers that I read was Love on the Brain. A few cringe moments, but all in all I liked that one a lot. Love Theoretically had some cinnamon roll moments and some cringe effect. But Love Hypothesis was more cringe for me (unfortunately).
I love romance and…. Ehm smutty books, so I’ve read quite a bit. I think Ali Hazelwood is probably my favorite modern romance writer.
If you’re looking for something with lighter touches or barely any touches of… smut… and a compelling story, I did just finish “One Dark Window” by Rachel Gillig. There is a romance scene, but it’s more fade to black than overtly descriptive. However, it’s definitely not a modern story and the magic system is different, but I actually liked that a lot.

i absolutely love ali's writing and her books, but if you found Check & Mate too vulgar i wouldn't recommend any other of her books. maybe give Check & Mate another try first.

Thanks a ton! 😃

Thanks for the warning on "Bride", the suggestion of her novellas, and suggestion of One Dark Window! I'll request her novellas from the library right now and, if I enjoy them, get my own copy 🙂 I really appreciate the time and thought you contributed!

I always want to give authors a second chance, but that's a fair point!

i just don’t like the explicit nature of it but I don’t mind references that aren’t explicit haha
if anyone could tell me that would be great
Thank you!! xxx

It is referenced a lot, talked about a lot, and there is a lot of sexual innuendo, but there aren't any explicit sex scenes that I recall. I am fairly certain that all of the actual scenes happen "off camera."

As the title suggests, I am looking for the cleanEST Ali Hazelwood book(s). I have already read Check & Mate (and, tbh, was pretty shocked at the content it contained--casual talk about sex, cuss words everywhere, lying and hatred, and so on). Despite not being able to finish the book halfway through, I really liked the writing, and I believe authors--including Ali Hazelwood--always deserve a second try!
So what is Ali Hazelwood's LEAST dirty book, especially when it comes to sensual content? If it's Check & Mate, what is her next cleanest book? I'm emphasizing "-est" and "least" because it doesn't have to be 100% clean, I just want the most clean.
Thanks for listening to me rattle on! ;-)
