yeah, like it is fine if it talks about there will be swearing and mature scenes but when it talks bout mental health and all i am running to the hills never looking back.

OMG yes!! Ash this always helped me I always read like retelling fairy tales. those always help me. Cause it help me connect to my younger self yk

Just checked your profile and saw you were reading a lisa jewell book. Me too and im also struggling through! i'd try reading short books/novellas and taking a break from that book or even maybe dnf it if its causing a slump

try a completely different genre or reread a favourite book because this will help reading go much faster if you already know you love what you are about to read!
