This was my favorite of the series so far, which I thought was a trilogy but there are 5 books (quintology???!). Instead of being set in the Inn, this book is set on the home planet of Arland, where he brings Maud and Helen. I think Helen was my favorite character and I loved the scenes with her in them. It did follow the traditional romance angst, Maud loves Arland, is afraid of committing, yada, yada, yada. I hate traditional ‘woman can’t make up her mind’ storylines - someone strong and decisive like Maud wouldn’t behave in that way, in my opinion. Overall, 3.5-4 stars for entertainment, escapism, creativity and action.
