Another question on the same book: 162131900 looks to be a duplicate of 307980. However, the AISN for 307980 (0786933011, the ISBN) doesn't match anything on Amazon, while the AISN for 162131900 (B001ZVQOKI) goes to the proper Amazon listing.
But I can't change the AISN on 307980.

And on WorldCat: https://search.worldcat.org/title/474...
A hardcover with only an ASIN is often (not always) an indication that it's a single copy of a book listed by a reseller (i.e., not a valid edition). Showing up on Amazon doesn't always mean much—search on GR for "shower curtain" and you'll see just how many of those have ASINs these days :) If it's a duplicate, though, you wouldn't change the ASIN; you'd merge the duplicate into the valid edition.

This (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...) is a duplicate and should be delete. It is ASIN for a used (second-hand) book.

Liralen has already sent you a link. This is mine (from Canada). There is more than one Amazon in the world.

The UK Kindles will not show up in a search of the US site.
Books from India's Amazon don't show up as well.
I have found that once I find the item on any of the foreign sites that magically the US one has it as well, at least with the physical books.
The Audibles and Kindles are 50/50.

Individual comics should only be listed on Goodreads if they are published with an ISBN, or if they are Kindle edition with an ASIN. It doesn't look like that one is valid for Goodreads.

Yep. There are in fact 18. I have all of the addresses bookmarked.
This totally made me LOL -- talk about the ultimate definition of booknerdiness XD We are such a weird yet awesome bunch...

Nice! Can you share that list? And how do you decide when to use which?

The language is the main criteria. Portugal doesn't have one, so I know to go to Brazil.
I have my bookmarks in geographic lumps. I find it odd that Canada and the US don't have the same site. I could understand Quebec having its own, but it is odd. A few months ago I did a bunch of medical textbooks. That was fun. 😜They had US, Canadian, and International editions. The Canadian ones specified that they could not be used in the US.
Hope the sites help.

Egypt: https://www.amazon.eg/
Poland: https://www.amazon.pl/
South Africa: https://www.amazon.co.za/
You can change to the site of your choice in this way:
- open Amazon.com
- click on the button to change the language
- click on 'Change country/region'
- open the dropdown list on the resulting page and pick the site you want
This also works on other Amazon sites that offer a language or currency choise
