hopeless romantic society discussion

helppp I’m 162 pages in and I’m bored:( it’s not bad but the romance is slow imo. does it get better from here?? I wanted to love this so bad but I don’t have motivation to pick it up

honestly no. i wanted to love too but i could not. because it was genuinely so close in my book but just soooo slow!

I’m about to read is it even worth starting?

It's well written, but the pacing is a crawl from start to 90%. I'm skipping the sequel unless presented with evidence that it's astronomically improved.

@nova ward it starts out really good but the middle is extremely slow imo. I still think you should give it a try because the writing and romance is so well written
