The Maze Runner or BelladonnaI struggled so hard to get through them but I'm trying not to DNF this year

Missy the Werecat, I couldn't even finish it.
I really didn’t like The Ritual by Adam Nevill. It was so boring to the point that I stopped reading it at I believe 30%.
The Cruel Prince. Hated every second.
The Writing Retreat by Julia Bartz. I'm still angry i pushed myself through it to this day. The fact that it got so much attention is only because her sister wrote We Were Never Here which was boring but not rage inducing. I know a lot of people who liked it too and I try to understand but I can't lol
The Secret History by Donna Tartt. Major disappointment!Edith' Diary by Patricia Highsmith (I enjoyed all books by her published BEEFORE "Edith' Diary" and not one that was published after).
She changed her style and I didn't like it.

Recently, (and I know this will be an unpopular opinion) A Court of Mist and Fury! From a while ago, The Night Circus.Lol at seeing The Cruel Prince multiple times. So popular but yes, it starts hella slow in the first book. Second book of the series gets much better and the third book is so good!

La Nausee by Jean Paul Sartre. What a pity he didn’t think it would be a good idea to include something vaguely resembling a plot.Also Love in the Time of Cholera- boring, and the author had no problems with giving the main character paedophilia tendencies
Shadow of the Wendigo by Dale T Phillips.
Recently, Bad Summer People by Emma something. It was frustrating to read and unfulfilling. I don't know if it's the worst book I've ever read but it would be a contender.
Freewater. It was probably good but not my taste. It just took too long to get into and I never finished it.
I posted before but I wanted to add "Call of the Wild", they made us read it in middle school and it was just scarring. I'm sure it's all due to some metaphor about man and nature and yadda yadda that I'd understand now that it's been so long but I just remember it being a couple hundred pages of dogs being killed/killing each other.

idk why but these three make the list. The Giver made gr6 me insanely uncomfortable when I had to read it for school. Hooked was plainly terrible. Lastly the Inhoneymooners committed too many crimes in the miscommunication and cheating department.

The Silent Boy and When Friendship Followed Me Home Read both of these when I was pretty young but I remember really not liking them.

probably the twisted series(shallow, terrible writing, literally no plot except for tasteless smut) and like 'they both die at the end' (bad writing but decent plot, I will say I devoured that book when I was a kid, and when I was first getting into YA so I had no standards)
Twilight (if I had to pick just one in the series, it would probably be Eclipse)
The Subtle art of not giving a Fu@! the author come across so arrognant. DNF'D for ny most Fav Non-Fiction book Atomic Habits
It might be What Happened That Night (it was a Wattpad book and not what I thought it was when I bought it)
