Horror Aficionados discussion

I'm not sure if this is fitting for here but I'm looking for recommendations for books that have the same feel or vibe as the movie Lisa Frankenstein. I know the movie is more of a horror comedy/horror romcom but I really need something to scratch the itch! I'm no stranger to monster romances, however; I find a lot of them to be too sweet or too much in the realm of traditional bodice rippers and I want something not as saccharine & more dipped in horror. Thank you! 💖

That is a really good movie.

If you're looking for horror/humor combos, I would suggest looking at the books of these two authors: Jeff Strand and JA Konrath.

Well, I mean you could read Frankenstein, but it isn't as cute as this movie.. I actually really want to see this movie.. It looks great...

These are my favs but just about anything by Strand is good.
