daydreamer Maybe its because english is not my first language, but I really didn't get the whole Pete/Repeat joke.

Can someone explain it to me? Please ^_^

Leah Heath Pete is close to Repeat, and it kinda is like another Pete. It's not that funny, but it is witty.

Liv I don't understand your post Leah.. gg..

I like the joke, it seemed fitting.. I am also non-native and I know some similar joke in my language. The whole point is to tell the joke and then the other person answers the question "who was saved?" with "repeat". And then the person who said the joke, has to repeat it and say the joke again, and then the other person will answer again "repeat".. and so on.. as in never-ending-joke-telling

Liv explained it really well, but maybe this will help, too. This is how I was taught the joke growing up.

Me: Pete and Repeat are in a boat. Pete jumps out. Who is left?
You: Repeat.

You: Repeat.

I'm making you say repeat so I can keep repeating the joke and frustrate you.

daydreamer Thank you :) I see it now

Jennifer So grateful for this clarification....I'm a bit slow on jokes.
