An author page will be unique as fer as I know. But which language is preferable for author name. English? Or their native language with most common and correct spelling? Like a bengali writter name in english "kazi Nazrul Islam" and in bengali (native) "কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম". In book cover all bengali writter name in begali which is native. But I see many renowned bengali writter name in english later. Some case many author has duplicate profile with begali laguage and many book has author twich in bangla and english. It can be a reason for that in search all begali reader search their book as well as athour in bengali. So he can't find their desired athour sometime with english name.
So what will be the athour name in english or in native language?
Or is there any way to same profile have more than one spelling that all link with one profile but not creating any duplicate profile.

I read this topic but I am not clear about this specially in about me section. A bengali athour profile name should be in bengali or in english if he write normally in english an rearly in other languages. I see many bengali renowned writter name is in english even they write in bengali.

All the books should have kazi Nazrul Islam (= English version) as primary author, and কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম as secondary author on the Bengali editions that has this name on the covers.

And add to the Bengali profile link to the English profile:

1. You mean what I see writter name in book cover bangla or english that is the primary athour and other one in secondary athour. So every book have twice a athour name.
2. For this purpose we have to creat 2 profile for same author. But unique athour should have unique profile.

4. In this case there are two profile of same author. So should I add profile link to two profile of each other.

English name should be the first for all the books, despite what is on the cover or what language. So English profile will be the main profile. The second name in Bengali should be only for the books in Bengali.

I see this author is already has English profile and this is correct. This is an unique profile.
So this book Mrityukshudha: Love and Death in Krishnanagar should have only one author - Kazi Nazrul Islam.
This book মৃত্যুক্ষুধা should have two authors - Kazi Nazrul Islam, কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম. Just add the second name to the books in Bengali.

I see in the logs that Mousum has already done this work (added second names) in 2021. But someone merged that profile in Bengali with English. It was wrong. I can't find who and when. That why the books in Bengali have two authors now - Kazi Nazrul Islam, Kazi Nazrul Islam (incorrectly).

I added the name in Bengali to this book (please check, I copy/past it from your message) and there is a new profile কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম. I added the link to English profile. You can see how this formula works on the edit page. Please add Librarian Note in this profile in Bengali language, something like "don't merge profiles, English name should be first, this name second".

I added the libraian note to secondary profile.
It's mean In this case always creat a secondary profile beside primary english profile while English profile is must whatever the language that book was written.

Lastly I want to know what is influences field is for where I see add an author link written on top of the box.

Yes, English profile is the main one.
If this author has books in other languages, for example in Cyrillic his name will be "Кази Назрул Ислам", these books should have two authors - Kazi Nazrul Islam, Кази Назрул Ислам. English name + translated name. No need for Bengali name for these books.

Influences field - this is to add links to favorite authors. I never use this option. I think this only works for GR authors, they can add - I love this and this author.

I see maximulm english profile books have no secondary profile or added only a few. Is there any way to add secondary author of those english profile books because a author so many book that have no secondary author added? Or I have to manually add secondary author as much as I can but it is very time consuming!!!

Only manually, unfortunately. My personal advice (I do this a lot for books in Cyrillic) is to add the second name in Bengali only to the most popular edition.

For example this book has 4 editions:

If you add the second name in only 1 of 3 Bengali books, it will be searchable by name and will appear in the Bengali profile.

Next time I try to follow your suggestion. Now I am very much clear about this topic.

But I want to share an idea about this but don't know how it is possible. If goodreads add a system that english profile and other laguage profile have only profile link. If I click english as well as other laguage name its redirect to english profile or main profile page (means there will be only one profile of an author). Besides this, search will work in any laguage. If this add to the system then it will be great then don't need to add extra name of same author.
