So we do know that Verenmore is in the same universe as the other cities, and it is close to Tenebrae.
But Dainn Blackthorn (Shadowman) from The Annihilator and Vad Deverell from Gothikana, both mention going to an orphanage called the Morning Star Home. And Vad says was burned.
Could Dainn and Vad have been in the same orphanage? And Dainn was the one who burned down that home and accidentally killed his friend? Or better, Dainn is Fury! Zelda predicted Fury would "eat flames", and Dainn is a pyromaniac.

Which would also mean that Vad was also a victim of the Syndicate's crimes... Some of the secrets he didn't want Corvina to know about...
