Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hey,

I just tried to add the following to my shelf, but it didn't work, because "This item does not meet our catalog guidelines and can no longer be rated or reviewed." :

Is it because it's a magazine? Oddly I found a lot of other (newer editions) of this magazine, that I'm still able to add to my shelf, for example: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Can someone please clearify for me? Are magazines not allowed anymore or what's the problem here? Why are older editions removed, but still new ones are getting created?

Hi! Sorry, magazines aren't eligible for inclusion to the Goodreads database, unless they are literary magazines. Some were imported by a bot incorrectly.
