Salman Rushdie's ponderings on his attempted murder came out April 16th, 2024 and is apparently quite a departure from his other writing. I've never read this guy but his radio interviews are so thoughtful and intriguing that I plan to finally get to this work by a man the Ayatollah Khomeinei wanted dead.
