Do you guys read the acknowledgements??

I sometimes do. More so if I like the author I will or I really like the book. If not I don't bother

it actually depends on the book. If it was an awesome read, I usually read it. If not, I don't !

i like to read acknowledgements to see if the author name-dropped any other authors i like. a lot of popular authors are friends with each other so i love to see how my favorite author contributed to the book (for example, leigh bardugo and holly black are friends, so whenever i read one of holly's or leigh's books, the other is named in the acknowledgements)

It depends. On the author, quality of the book and honesty whether I can be bothered tbh
