Some low hanging fruit for memory skills in this readable book. Building a memory Palace is super easy, helpful and fun.

A line I like from the book:
The goal of any trader is to turn profits on a regular basis, yet so few people ever really make consistent money as traders. What accounts for the small percentage of traders who are consistently successful? To me, the determining factor is psychological—the consistent winners think differently from everyone else.
100%. You just need to compare how you started off vs now if you've been at it for years. I just relate to when I was on robinhood now trading with cobra trading & etrade. That's what those Robinhood traders are not aware of.
That's all for now guys. Peace

- Trader Vic - Methods of a Wallstreet Master
- The Talent Code
- Trading & Exchanges - Larry Harris
Trader Vic was an awesome insight into a legendary trader - the wealth of knowledge, especially on the emotional and mental side, was very illuminating.
The Talent Code, an awesome read that gives a biological underpinning for the development of skill and three essential ingredients for improvement - great read, but Atomic Habits trumps all in the self-development category imo.
Trading & Exchanges, this is the driest book I've ever read, but I learnt more about the trading environment through it than anything else I've ever read - would recommend to those who take trading very seriously.

Thank you! Interesting point about what our reading real time mind connects to thus what it omits.
Going to add that to my list of reading strategies & insights. Thx again
A topic not discussed online especially! but I think this is the difference between good and bad trading.
You’re in a losing position you keep telling to yourself to average down? Or you collect the courage to cut it. Etc.
