Wash, Rinse, and Repeat. - The very act of hearing His Word and responding to it is a cleansing. So, living by the spirit requires three very important things that will lead to success in this endeavor. WASH act of obedience. RINSE using clean water; the living water that refreshes and cleanses. REPEAT practice over and over to get better. - For I will gather you up from all the nations and bring you home again to your land. “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. -Ezekiel 36:24-25 Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.-Hebrews 10:22 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. -Romans 12:1-2 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.
